Kids Rock! Books is pleased to announce that a Kids Rock! Books Writer's Scholarhip will be presented every May to an OA-BCIG High School Senior.

2011 Winner: Courtney Bottjen--Congratulations Courtney and the best of luck to you at The Universtiy of Northern Iowa!
Eligibility: All graduating high school seniors from the Odebolt-Arthur-Battle Creek-Ida Grove, Iowa, (OA-BCIG) School District.
Scholarship Amount: $500
Application Due Date: April of each year to the OA-BCIG High School Guidance Counselor.
Scholarship Description: The Writer's Scholarship is a creative writing project, where the applicant can write a short story on any topic of their choosing.
Scholarhip Criteria: Stories will be judged on the following criteria: Creative expression, strength of plot, strength of descriptions, your voice, character strength, and your individual writing style.

All entries may be published in a booklet for resale, with all sales going to the OA-BCIG Dollars for Scholars Foundation.
